Andy Dalton gets six-year deal
The Cincinnati Bengals are making Dalton one of the highest-paid quarterbacks in the league. Dalton signed a six-year extension on Monday. According to multiple reports, the deal is worth up to $115 million and will prevent Dalton playing out the final year of his rookie contract.
The Cincinnati Bengals have signed quarterback Andy Dalton to a six-year contract extension through 2020, the team announced Monday.
The new deal is for $115 million. Sources told Caplan that Dalton will make $22 million within the first six months of the deal based on bonuses (signing, roster and workout) and base salary.
Andy Dalton will be leading a Bengals offense that is looking to be more physical than in recent seasons.
